He stated, 'As far as I’m concerned there isn’t a world where Ruth Wilson ever went away. Just because she’s not in this particular film doesn’t mean that she’s not there in the broader universe. Alice is a very real person to me and I wouldn’t want to live in a world without her.' Cross added that Alice sprang from his imagination fully formed, in a slightly folkloric way, emphasizing her enduring presence in the series.
Filming Details and Explosive Scenes
The new movie, a sequel to the 2023 film Luther: The Fallen Sun, features intense action sequences. Idris Elba was recently seen filming outside St Paul's Cathedral, fleeing from a car explosion amidst fake rain. Despite the challenging weather, Elba appeared in high spirits, dressed in his character's signature black trench coat and smart attire. The set included umbrellas and ponchos to protect the cast and crew, with Elba also interacting with his stunt double and co-stars during breaks.
