Bullseye host Freddie Flintoff was left utterly baffled during the latest episode of the hit ITV gameshow, responding with a single, perfect word to a contestant's revelation of a very unusual talent.
The Baffling Bullseye Exchange
In an exclusive clip from Sunday's episode, obtained by The Mirror, the former England cricketer, 47, is seen chatting with contestants Graham and Becky. After Becky reveals she works as a paediatric nurse, Freddie probes further, asking about a rumoured 'anatomy party trick'.
Becky confirms the rumour, proudly stating, "Yes I do! I can name a part of the body for every letter of the alphabet!" A stunned Flintoff, looking completely perplexed, simply retorts, "Why?" to which Becky cheerfully admits, "I don't know!"
Alphabet Woes and On-Screen Banter
Never one to miss a comedic opportunity, Freddie then quipped, "But Y, Y, I've just thrown one at you! Can you do then A to J?" As Becky began reciting body parts, she hilariously stumbled, asking, "What's after E, F?!" and promptly missed out the letter G.
This prompted the quick-witted host to fire back, "So you know your anatomy but not your alphabet?" Becky's reply of "Yeah, that's it!" only fuelled the fun, with Freddie adding, "I was going to say, do you know your a**e from your elbow but I'm not quite sure!"
Bullseye's Successful Return
The hilarious moment comes as Bullseye continues its successful revival on ITV. The show, which originally aired from 1982 to 1995 under the late Jim Bowen, has found a new audience. Its return has been so popular that it has been commissioned for a new series and a 2025 Christmas special, following a one-off festive special last year that drew in over 8.6 million viewers.
Interestingly, viewers will know the host as Freddie, but the cricket icon's real name is actually Andrew. He was given the nickname 'Freddie' in his school days because his surname, Flintoff, was reminiscent of the cartoon character Fred Flintstone.
Bullseye airs Sundays at 8pm on ITV1.
