Gemma Owen enjoyed a rare family outing with her father Michael as they joined the stars for day one of The Boodles Festival at Chester Races on Wednesday.
Family Affair at the Races
The Love Island star and dressage rider, 23, opted for a chic pale blue shirt dress as she arrived with the former Liverpool star, her mother Louise, and brother James, 20. Gemma teamed her stylish look with a navy blue blazer, and the whole family sported matching outfits during the sunny outing.
The star previously rose to fame on Love Island in 2022 thanks to her romance with Luca Bish, but she is now dating horse rider Red Morgan.
Switching from Dressage to Racing
Gemma recently shared she would be swapping dressage for the home straight, and she will be riding in the Markel Magnolia Cup at Goodwood on July 30. She is currently in training for the race and works at Manor House Stables, which her father established in 2007.
Speaking about the race, Gemma said last month: "I'm really looking forward to taking part in the Markel Magnolia Cup this year. Believe it or not, I had never sat on a racehorse until a couple of months ago and the training so far has been humbling to say the least. Spending more time at Manor House Stables, seeing how a racing yard runs like clockwork and getting out onto the gallops, has been an incredible experience."
She added: "It is an even bigger challenge than I initially expected but I'm excited to take part in such a prestigious fundraising event which raises so much money for charities supporting women and children."
The Markel Magnolia Cup has raised more than £3.5 million for charities supporting women and children since its inception in 2011, and this year it will raise funds for Education Above All Foundation.
New Romance and Home Renovations
Gemma unveiled her romance with Red last year, sharing a photo of the pair joined by her father and mother. A source told The Sun at the time that Gemma and Red had known each other for a while after meeting through their shared passion for equestrian sports.
Per the 2024 Sunday Times Rich List, Red's father Steve, founder and chairman of housebuilder Redrow, has a net worth estimated at £915 million.
Gemma's new romance came after it was revealed she has been setting up her own home since moving out of the family's £4 million mansion. In a string of Instagram posts, Gemma revealed her bedroom and kitchen have been transformed with muted new decor. One video showed the before and after of her newly renovated kitchen, packed with grey appliances and gold accents. Her living room and bedroom continued the all-grey theme, including metallic blinds, cabinets, and matching satin pillows.
