For international audiences and those in the UK who prefer streaming, the series will be available on Prime Video. The first three episodes will drop on Sunday, 11 January, with new instalments following every Sunday until the conclusion on 1 February.

An Explosive New Mission for Jonathan Pine

The new season finds the protagonist, Tom Hiddleston's Jonathan Pine, living under the alias Alex Goodwin. Now a low-level MI6 officer running a quiet surveillance unit in London, his peaceful existence is shattered by a chance sighting of a former associate from his past.

This encounter propels Pine into a dangerous new world, where he crosses paths with a formidable new adversary: Teddy Dos Santos, a Colombian businessman played by Diego Calva. To infiltrate Teddy's arms operation, Pine must enlist the reluctant help of businesswoman Roxana Bolaños, portrayed by Camila Morrone.

Once in Colombia, Pine is thrust deep into a lethal conspiracy involving arms deals and the training of a guerrilla army. The official synopsis promises a story where allegiances splinter, forcing Pine to navigate a web of betrayal as he races to expose a plot designed to destabilise an entire nation.

Returning Favourites and New Faces

Tom Hiddleston leads the returning cast, reprising his BAFTA and Golden Globe-winning role as the enigmatic Jonathan Pine. He is joined once more by Olivia Colman as intelligence operative Angela Burr.

Other familiar faces making a comeback include Alistair Petrie as Sandy Langbourne, Douglas Hodge as Rex Mayhew, Michael Nardone as Frisky, and Noah Jupe as Daniel Roper.

The new season introduces key players in Pine's latest mission. Alongside Diego Calva and Camila Morrone, the cast expands to include Indira Varma as Mayra, Paul Chahidi as Basil, and Hayley Squires as Sally.

The second season of The Night Manager consists of six hour-long episodes, packed with what the creators have described as "danger, espionage, betrayal, love, heartbreak, drama, and suspense." Nearly ten years after its explosive debut, one of the BBC's most celebrated thrillers is ready to captivate audiences once again.
