Why I Always Visit M&S for One Delicious Yogurt Item
Why M&S Yogurt Is Worth the Splurge

Everyone has a preferred supermarket, whether for the weekly shop or just a few essentials. For my weekly groceries, I typically choose Sainsbury’s and Aldi because their prices are generally reasonable. I used to avoid shopping at Marks & Spencer due to its reputation for high prices, fearing a shock at the checkout. However, for certain products, I believe M&S truly excels and is worth the extra cost.

Discovering a Hidden Gem

I’ve previously highlighted the superior quality of chicken at M&S compared to Sainsbury’s and Aldi, but a few months ago, I stumbled upon another product that caught my attention. While browsing the dairy aisle for Greek yogurt, I noticed small pots of 0% fat Greek yogurt with a side of fruit compote. They come in cherry, peach, and honey varieties. I decided to buy all three for a taste test, each costing £1.20. My favorite was the peach flavor.

A Healthier Indulgence

These yogurts are like an elevated, healthier version of a Muller Corner. The larger compartment contains Greek yogurt, while the smaller one holds a deliciously sweet compote or honey. With only 113 calories and over 12 grams of protein, I love incorporating them into my breakfast or enjoying them as a filling snack.

I’ve noticed that the brand Fage offers a similar product at Sainsbury’s, but only with honey and without fruit options. Additionally, Fage’s version has less protein per 100 grams and more calories. Aldi also sells small pots of 0% fat Greek yogurt in mango, raspberry, honey, and vanilla flavors, but I wasn’t impressed with the quality of the yogurt itself.

Final Verdict

If you enjoy the combination of Greek yogurt and fruit, especially peaches or cherries, these M&S pots are well worth picking up. I went through four of them last week alone.
