Lawrence Taylor Released from Hospital After Pancreatitis

New York Giants legend Lawrence Taylor has finally been released from hospital after suffering from pancreatitis. Taylor, a Pro Football Hall of Famer and two-time Super Bowl champion, had been in a New Jersey hospital since April 23. However, TMZ has reported that the 67-year-old has been sent home to continue his recovery and is said to be feeling 'much better'.

Understanding Pancreatitis

Pancreatitis is a condition where the pancreas becomes inflamed. It can cause severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and in some cases, can be life-threatening. Sources told TMZ last month that they didn't think 'whatever he's dealing with is too serious' and believed he would be released from the hospital soon.

Recovery Progress

'Lawrence is getting better every day and is looking forward to getting back on his feet,' said his agent, Mark Lepselter. Taylor's attorney, Mark Eiglarsh, also provided a statement to the New York Post, saying: 'At this time, the condition does not appear to be life-threatening. He remains under medical observation and is showing signs of improvement. His discharge date has not yet been determined.'
