Freshly released WhatsApp messages discussing the price of young women for Jeffrey Epstein have intensified the long-standing allegations against Prince Andrew, placing him at the centre of a renewed scandal. The communications, which refer to an "18-year-old from Russia" and a fee of "1000$ per girl", were made public by Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee.
WhatsApp Messages Detail Disturbing Transactions
The latest batch of evidence includes screenshots of messages from an unidentified sender. One text asks, "Maybe someone will be good for J?" – with the "J" widely understood to be Jeffrey Epstein. The material also features a redacted list detailing a young woman's name, age, physical measurements, weight, and departure city, identifying Russia as her country of origin.
These messages appear to corroborate the sworn testimony of Virginia Giuffre, who died earlier this year. Giuffre had claimed that Epstein organised a sex party on his private Caribbean island, Little St James, involving the former Duke of York, herself, and seven girls reportedly flown in from Eastern Europe.
Giuffre's Graphic Allegations in Posthumous Memoir
In her posthumous memoir, Nobody's Girl, published in October 2025, Giuffre provided a harrowing account of the alleged 2001 encounter. She wrote that Epstein, Andrew, and approximately eight other young girls had sex together.
She described how Epstein directed her and the other girls, who "appeared to be under the age of 18 and didn't really speak English", to undress and perform sexual acts on each other using dildos. Giuffre alleged that both Epstein and the prince were laughing before they stripped, after which she performed a sex act on Andrew. She claimed the other girls were young Russians specifically flown in for the occasion.
Mounting Pressure and Maxwell's Intervention
The release of the 68 new images, which also includes a photograph of a Ukrainian girl's passport, comes on the eve of the deadline for the release of the government's long-awaited Epstein files under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
Congressman Robert Garcia, the committee's ranking Democrat, stated the new evidence "raises more questions" about what the US Department of Justice continues to withhold. He accused the administration of a cover-up and demanded the immediate release of all files.
In a dramatic parallel development, convicted trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell has submitted a handwritten filing to a federal court in New York. She seeks to have her 2021 conviction and 20-year sentence set aside, claiming "substantial new evidence" shows constitutional violations undermined her trial. Her conviction was previously upheld on appeal.
Prince Andrew, who was stripped of his royal titles and military affiliations due to his association with Epstein, has consistently and vehemently denied all of Giuffre's allegations. The newly surfaced material ensures this scandal will continue to cast a long shadow over the British monarchy and the ongoing pursuit of justice for Epstein's victims.
