Princess Eugenie Severs All Ties with Father Andrew Over Epstein Scandal
Princess Eugenie cuts off contact with Prince Andrew

Princess Eugenie has reportedly severed all communication with her father, the disgraced Prince Andrew, in the wake of the ongoing controversy surrounding his links to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

A Family Rift Deepens

It is understood that the 35-year-old princess refuses to speak to her father and did not visit him with her own family over the Christmas period. A source described the estrangement as being on par with the well-publicised distance between Brooklyn Beckham and his father, David, stating: "There is no contact at all, nothing. It’s Brooklyn Beckham level – she has completely cut him off."

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who was stripped of his royal titles and military affiliations in October last year, is said to be "devastated" by the breakdown in his relationship with his youngest daughter. The former Duke of York was also snubbed at Christmas by both Eugenie and her sister, Princess Beatrice, who instead joined the wider Royal Family at Sandringham.

The source added that while Beatrice is attempting to navigate a delicate balance, "Eugenie isn't trying to walk that line. She's not speaking to him."

Eviction from Royal Lodge and a New Home

This personal turmoil coincides with Andrew's forced departure from his long-time home, the 30-room Royal Lodge in Windsor. He was required to give up the lease on the mansion following the removal of his royal roles. Huge removal lorries were spotted at the Windsor estate last week, with Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, who has lived there with him since 2008, required to vacate the property by January 25.

Reports suggest Sarah Ferguson will not be moving with Andrew to his new residence and is instead "ready to spread her wings," with Princess Eugenie's home in Portugal a potential temporary option. Andrew's belongings, including precious artworks, are currently stored in a secured South London warehouse.

It is believed the ex-prince will relocate to Marsh Farm, a property on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. The farm is undergoing renovations, including the erection of a large fence and security lighting for privacy. Andrew is expected to move into temporary lodgings before settling at the Norfolk estate around Easter.

The Shadow of the Epstein Files

The family rift follows the release of court documents related to Jeffrey Epstein shortly before Christmas, in which uncomfortable images of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor appeared. While being named or pictured in the files does not denote criminal wrongdoing, and Andrew has consistently denied any misconduct, the association has compounded his fall from grace.

The US Department of Justice released a fraction of the documents by a December 19, 2025 deadline, with many entries heavily redacted. The continued scrutiny appears to have been a final catalyst for Princess Eugenie's decisive action to distance herself from her father's scandal.

Representatives for both Princess Eugenie and Prince Andrew have been approached for comment.
