Explosive Memo Alleges Trump Displayed Top-Secret Map on Private Jet

A bombshell new memo claims former President Donald Trump showed a highly classified map to passengers aboard his private aircraft in 2022. According to the document, this map was so sensitive that only six individuals worldwide had authorised access to it.

Democrats Publicise Never-Before-Seen Documents

The explosive memo was publicised by House Democrats, who are keen to resurface allegations of wrongdoing against Trump. Representative Jamie Raskin revealed that the document came from a trove of previously unseen materials from Special Counsel Jack Smith's investigation into Trump's handling of classified documents.

This was the same probe that prompted FBI agents to raid Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in 2022. However, the case was ultimately dismissed in 2024 after a judge ruled Smith's appointment as unconstitutional.

Allegations of Business Interests and National Security Risks

Raskin further alleged that the classified documents Trump retained were pertinent to his business interests. He wrote, 'This glimpse into the trove of evidence behind the coverup reveals a President of the United States who may have sold out our national security to enrich himself.'

Prosecutors specifically claimed that Trump showed the classified map to a passenger during a June 2022 flight to his Bedminster, New Jersey, golf club. The memo indicates the display occurred in front of Susie Wiles, who is now Trump's White House Chief of Staff.

White House Dismisses Claims as 'Pathetic'

The White House swiftly rejected the allegations. Spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told the Daily Mail, 'It’s pathetic that Democrats with zero credibility like Jamie Raskin are still clinging to deranged Jack Smith and his lies in 2026.'

She added, 'President Trump did nothing wrong, which is why he easily defeated the Biden DOJ’s unprecedented lawfare campaign against him and then won nearly 80 million votes in a landslide election victory.'

Legal Context and Ongoing Demands

Despite the business nexus allegations, prosecutors never pursued this angle in the case against Trump, suggesting insufficient evidence. Trump has consistently maintained his innocence throughout the proceedings.

Raskin has sent a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi, demanding the Department of Justice release additional files from the case that remain under court order. He wrote to Bondi, 'Apparently blinded by the frenzied search to find any scrap of evidence that could be twisted and distorted ... you have, quite amazingly, missed the fact that some of the documents you provided include damning evidence about your boss's conduct.'

The Department of Justice responded on social media platform X, stating, 'Jack Smith's team was desperate to prosecute Biden's top political opponent, so it is no surprise that his files contain salacious and untrue claims about President Trump.'

The FBI's 2022 raid on Mar-a-Lago aimed to seize the classified material central to this case, which was ultimately dismissed two years later. The newly surfaced memo continues to fuel political controversy over Trump's handling of sensitive information.
