Jesse Ventura Urges Barron Trump to Enlist, Brands Donald a 'Draft-Dodging Coward'
Ventura: Send Barron to War, Trump a 'Draft-Dodging Coward'

WWE icon and former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura has launched a scathing attack on Donald Trump, demanding the ex-president send his youngest son Barron to war while branding Trump a "draft-dodging coward." The 74-year-old Vietnam veteran made the explosive comments during an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, where he also questioned the authenticity of Trump's 2024 assassination attempt.

Military Service Challenge to Trump Family

Ventura directly addressed 20-year-old Barron Trump during the interview, urging him to "enlist in the United States military right now" and "do something your father didn't have the courage to do." The former governor emphasized that military service represents true patriotism, something he claims the Trump family has consistently avoided.

"A war is justified if you're willing to send your kids," Ventura declared. "How can you send somebody else's kids to a war if you won't send your own?"

Trump Family Military History Scrutinized

Ventura pointed out that despite Trump having five children with three different women, none have served in the military. Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump took over management of the Trump Organization when their father assumed the presidency in 2017 rather than enlisting.

The wrestling legend noted that Trump himself avoided Vietnam War service through a bone spur diagnosis, while Trump's father Fred and grandfather Friedrich—who emigrated from Germany in 1885 after failing to complete mandatory military service—also never served.

"To my knowledge, a Trump in the last 100 years has never done military service," Ventura stated. "I wanna see a Trump in the military. Everybody in my family has served, so I think I can say that with all due confidence."

Addressing Barron's Potential Enlistment

Ventura dismissed suggestions that Barron's height—reportedly 6 feet 9 inches—would prevent military service, citing NBA legend David Robinson who served while standing 7 feet tall before joining the San Antonio Spurs.

"Come on Trumps! Don't just reap the benefits of this free world, somebody put on the uniform... and that's you Barron," Ventura challenged.

Assassination Attempt Conspiracy Theory

The conversation took another controversial turn when Ventura expressed skepticism about the failed attempt on Trump's life in Butler, Pennsylvania nearly two years ago. When Morgan described how Trump rose after being shot and uttered "Fight, fight, fight," Ventura referenced wrestling terminology.

"You ever hear of a blade job?" Ventura asked, referring to the practice where wrestlers intentionally cut themselves to bleed during matches. When Morgan appeared stunned, Ventura questioned why Trump shows no visible scar on his right ear from the incident.

Morgan noted that someone behind Trump died during the shooting, to which Ventura responded: "Come on, Piers, you're gonna tell me this guy [Trump] is a hero?" When Morgan affirmed he believed Trump acted heroically, Ventura concluded: "Well, then he accomplished what he wanted out of you guys."

The former governor's comments come amid ongoing tensions between America, Israel, and Iran, with Ventura framing military service as the ultimate test of leadership commitment. His challenge to the Trump family highlights ongoing debates about privilege, patriotism, and political leadership in contemporary America.
