Emily in Paris Stars Lily Collins & Ashley Park in London

Emily in Paris co-stars Lily Collins and Ashley Park were spotted enjoying a charming winter day out in London on Friday, with Lily's baby daughter Tove in tow. The actress, 36, was joined by her friend and colleague for a stroll in the park, marking a sweet reunion for the pair.

Auntie Duty in the Capital

Ashley Park, 34, who plays Mindy Chen in the hit Netflix series, appeared to be on official 'auntie duty' during her visit to the UK capital. The group, which also included Lily's husband, director-screenwriter Charlie McDowell, 42, later stopped for a traditional roast dinner. Lily and Charlie welcomed their first child, daughter Tove, last year via surrogacy.

Sharing a series of cosy photos from the day on social media, Ashley captioned the update: 'Auntie ash reporting for duty, quality cuddles and fish pies.' In the images, Lily looked stylish in an oversized fur-trimmed leather bomber jacket paired with cream jeans, while Ashley was winter-ready in a luxurious fur coat and a fleecy cap, taking a turn pushing Tove's pram.

Behind the Scenes: A Shoe Lover's Paradise

This wholesome outing follows a recent behind-the-scenes glimpse Lily shared from the set of Emily in Paris. In an Instagram post last week, the actress revealed the show's staggering designer shoe collection, amassed for the filming of season five.

The clip showcased hundreds of pairs of stilettos, slingbacks, and wedges, meticulously organised by colour in the wardrobe department. The sheer scale brought to mind the infamous collection of Imelda Marcos, the former First Lady of the Philippines, who was reputed to own around 3,000 pairs. Lily captioned the video: 'We'll always have Paris (and Rome... and Venice... and SHOES)...'

Paris is Always a Good Idea: Season 6 Confirmed

In further exciting news for fans, Netflix has officially confirmed the future of the beloved series. Shortly after the release of season five, which saw Emily's adventures extend to Rome, the streaming giant announced a renewal for a sixth season.

The news was delivered in a playful short clip on YouTube, featuring Lily's character Emily walking into a room before the camera panned to a croissant adorned with a candle shaped like the number six. Netflix declared: 'Home sweet home. Emily in Paris is returning for Season 6,' adding the apt tagline, 'Paris is always a good idea!'

Since its debut in 2020, the show has captivated audiences with Emily's professional and romantic trials in France. The upcoming season is expected to pick up directly from the Roman cliffhanger involving Emily and her love interest, Marcello, played by Eugenio Franceschini.
