Ghislaine Maxwell's Attempt to Discredit Andrew's Accuser Revealed in Epstein Files

Newly released emails from the Jeffrey Epstein files have exposed Ghislaine Maxwell's deliberate efforts to smear Virginia Giuffre, the woman who accused Prince Andrew of sexual assault. The messages show Maxwell attempting to portray Giuffre as a deranged teenager with an obsession with witchcraft, in what appears to be a calculated campaign to undermine her credibility.

Maxwell's Smear Campaign Against Giuffre

In a 2011 email from Maxwell's 'GMAX' account, the convicted sex trafficker advised her on-off lover to claim that Giuffre 'was 17 when you met her and her mum was worried she was into whichcraft (sic)'. Maxwell further suggested alleging that Giuffre had 'fled the country to avoid a grand theft auto problem and iditment (sic)'. These messages were sent after Vanity Fair contacted Epstein about Prince Andrew's connections to Giuffre.

Virginia Giuffre, who tragically took her own life last year, received an undisclosed out-of-court settlement in March 2022 to resolve her US civil sexual assault lawsuit against Prince Andrew. The Duke of York continues to deny all allegations made against him.

Royal Connections Exposed in Document Release

As investigators worldwide continue to examine the three million documents released last Friday, which include thousands of uncaptioned videos and images, further embarrassing revelations about Prince Andrew and other prominent figures within Epstein's orbit have emerged throughout the weekend.

The documents reveal that Prince Andrew discussed arranging billions in loans from Libya to Dubai during the final years of Muammar Gaddafi's regime. Newly released emails show the former Duke of York discussing this deal with Epstein and UAE-based investment banker Terrence Allen in 2010. Additionally, Andrew spoke of potential investment opportunities in war-torn Afghanistan with the late paedophile financier, despite having claimed to Newsnight that he had severed contact.

Sarah Ferguson's Extensive Correspondence

The released emails provide extensive evidence of Sarah Ferguson's close relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. In 2009, Ferguson boasted she could 'organise anything' after Epstein asked if she would arrange a VIP tour or special access in London for the daughter of his US lawyer, Alan Dershowitz. The following month, Epstein told hedge fund manager Glenn Dubin that Ferguson could 'organise tea in...Buckingham Palace...or Windsor Castle' during their UK visit.

Epstein is known to have visited Buckingham Palace, Sandringham, and Balmoral at the invitation of Andrew and his ex-wife. In a particularly revealing 2010 email, Ferguson wrote to Epstein: 'You are a legend. I really don't have the words to describe, my love, gratitude for your generosity and kindness. Xx I am at your service. Just marry me.'

Further messages show Ferguson beginning an email from November 2009 with 'My dear spectacular and special friend Jeffrey. You are a legend, and I am so proud of you.' In August of that same year, she thanked the billionaire 'for being the brother I have always wished for'.

Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice's Connections

One particularly shocking message from 2010 shows Sarah Ferguson telling Epstein that she was waiting for her youngest daughter, Eugenie, to 'come back from a sh***ing weekend' after he enquired if the former Duchess was in or going to New York. This message was sent shortly after Eugenie met her now-husband Jack Brooksbank on a ski holiday.

In an email exchange from October 2009, Epstein joked that if Lord Mandelson married Princess Beatrice, the Queen 'would have a queen as a grandson'. Epstein also told the then-serving cabinet minister that it would be 'incest' if the pair got together.

Newly released emails reveal that Sarah Ferguson and both her daughters arranged lunch with Epstein in July 2009, the same month he was released from jail in the US to serve the remainder of his 13-month sentence under house arrest. Epstein's assistant, Lesley Groff, discussed booking British Airways flights for the trio and arranging for a driver to collect them from the airport.

High-Profile Figures in Epstein's Network

The document release has implicated numerous other prominent individuals in Epstein's social and business circles. In an undated video interview seemingly conducted by Donald Trump's former strategist Steve Bannon, Epstein denied that his mysterious fortune came from 'dirty money' and claimed he made donations to eradicate polio in India and Pakistan.

When Epstein suggested that 'if you told them the devil himself said "I'm going to exchange some dollars for your child's life..."', the interviewer asked: 'Do you think you're the devil yourself?' The paedophile replied: 'No, but I do have a good mirror.'

Sir Richard Branson emailed Epstein to say he would be happy to see him any time, so long as the paedophile financier brought his 'harem'. The Virgin Group founder, who has supported the rehabilitation of ex-offenders, also encouraged Epstein to enlist Bill Gates to help repair his reputation following his 2008 conviction.

A Virgin Group spokesman stated: 'Any contact Richard and Joan Branson had with Epstein took place on only a few occasions more than twelve years ago, and was limited to group or business settings... When Epstein offered a charity donation, the Bransons asked their team to carry out due diligence before accepting the donation, which uncovered serious allegations.'

Further Revelations from Business and Royal Circles

Elon Musk asked Epstein in November 2012 when the 'wildest party' would take place on his island. The Tesla CEO told his fellow billionaire he wanted to 'hit the party scene in St Barts or elsewhere and let loose'. Epstein asked how many people Musk would bring to his island, Little Saint James, and promised to send him a helicopter. According to the released messages, Musk also chased Epstein about visiting in January 2013, though he maintains he never visited Epstein's island.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway apologised last night after it emerged she had exchanged dozens of effusive emails with Epstein despite knowing about his jail sentence. In 2012, when Epstein said he was going to Paris on a 'wife-hunting' mission but preferred 'Scandinavians', Mette-Marit responded: 'Paris good for adultery. Scandis better wife material.' A month later she told Epstein he was 'very charming'.

The Crown Princess had previously claimed she would not have had contact with Epstein if she had known about his criminality. However, a 2011 email showed her saying: 'Googled u after last email. Agree didn't look too good.'

Olympic Chief's Regret Over Correspondence

Los Angeles 2028 Olympics chief Casey Wasserman has also apologised over flirty emails exchanged with Ghislaine Maxwell, including one where he wrote: 'I think of you all the time ... So what do I have to do to see you in a tight leather outfit?' The 51-year-old stated: 'I deeply regret my correspondence with Ghislaine Maxwell which took place over two decades ago, long before her horrific crimes came to light.'

The continued release of documents from the Epstein files promises to keep revealing uncomfortable connections between the convicted sex trafficker and some of the world's most powerful and influential figures, raising serious questions about the extent of his network and the knowledge his associates had of his criminal activities.
