Andoni Iraola's busy summer at Liverpool continues with fresh developments in the pursuit of Bradley Barcola and Yan Diomande. The Spaniard, appointed three weeks ago, has already secured his first signing in Victor Munoz, a Spain international who strengthens the Reds' attack. Further reinforcements are expected as Liverpool undergoes a significant squad overhaul, with Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, and Ibrahima Konate already departed.
Bradley Barcola Boost
Barcola's future at Paris Saint-Germain is uncertain as contract negotiations have stalled. The France international is tied to the club until 2028, but the lack of progress on a new deal has led to reports that PSG may be willing to sell. According to Fabrizio Romano, both Arsenal and Liverpool have expressed interest in the winger.
Liverpool have been monitoring Barcola since last year. The club currently has three left-wingers: Cody Gakpo, Rio Ngumoha, and new recruit Victor Munoz. A move for Barcola would make it four, but the transfer is reportedly intended to complement the signing of Yan Diomande rather than replace it.
Yan Diomande Agreement
Identified as the successor to Mohamed Salah, Liverpool have informed RB Leipzig of their readiness to submit an offer of up to £86 million for the Ivory Coast star. However, the Bundesliga club is demanding a fee closer to £112 million.
According to Media Foot, Liverpool have agreed personal terms with the 19-year-old winger, who is prepared to move to Anfield this summer. PSG have withdrawn from the pursuit due to the high price tag, leaving Liverpool as the frontrunners for his signature.
