Aldi shoppers are sharing their all-time favourite items they believe are great 'dupes' of popular big-brands, including a $3 snack that has caught everyone by surprise.
Shoppers Rave About Skadoos
Michael Jaimie, from Adelaide, shared a rave review about the $2.99 Skadoos Milkshake Biscuit Bars, which are said to be an affordable alternative to the Twix Top, retailing for upwards of $8.99, and the 'nostalgic' M&M's chocolate biscuit bar.
'If you shop at Aldi, what is your favourite Aldi dupe that completely took you by surprise and now you've repurchased it a million times? For me... This is so fricking random, do not judge me, it's these Skadoos,' Michael said in a video.
He claimed the milkshake-flavoured product, a crispy biscuit topped with a creamy milk and cocoa filling, was 'better' than the 'real version'.
'I don't know what the hell they put in this stuff, but it is so delicious,' he said.
The snack takes him back to his childhood, where he remembers eating the iconic M&M's chocolate biscuit bar that was once a lunchbox staple.
'When I was a kid, they had these with M&M's but (Aldi is) basically like vanilla, chocolate cream mix, on top of this shortbread consistency,' Michael said. 'The flavour is next level, and I can't even tell you what made me pick a box of these up one day, but seriously, every time I go to Aldi now, I genuinely do not leave without a box of these.'
'Every time I eat them, I'm like God I wonder what everyone else gets from Aldi that they just weren't expecting.'
The customer pointed out he wasn't suggesting the snack was 'healthy' but he couldn't get enough of it. 'They're suspiciously delicious, I swear,' he said.
Other Shoppers Agree
Many shoppers agreed, saying they always add the 'moreish' Skadoos to their trolleys whenever they do their groceries at Aldi. Fans of Skadoos revealed the snack has been around for years, with many recalling having them in their lunchboxes growing up.
'Skadoos are elite, they were my favourite lunchbox snack in all honesty,' one said.
'Skadoos slap, I live in Tasmania where we don't have Aldi and buy 20 boxes every time I'm on the mainland,' another shared.
'Holy f*** you just brought back a memory with Skadoos,' one revealed.
'Skadoos are the bomb! My workplace lunchbox must,' another added.
'The Milkshake Skadoos are top tier,' one said.

Meanwhile, many shared their favourite Aldi 'dupes'.
