Cause and Consumer Response

The recall was prompted after four consumers reported finding glass pieces in the products. Fortunately, no injuries have been linked to the contamination at this time. Authorities are urging consumers to avoid consuming these items. They recommend either discarding the products or returning them to the point of purchase for a refund.

The manufacturer, Ajinomoto Foods North America Inc., based in Portland, Oregon, is coordinating the removal of the affected products from shelves. This incident highlights ongoing concerns about food safety and quality control in the frozen food industry.
