A Tripadvisor reviewer praised the site: "We've just come back from an epic night away at Machrihanish Holiday Park. If there is such a thing as luxury camping, this is the place! I love camping but hate bug/moth-infested shower blocks. Not a moth or bug in sight at the place; the shower rooms are so clean, and the shower is by far the best shower at any campsite I've been to!"
