London Travel Chaos: Tube and Elizabeth Line Disruptions Due to Signal Fault and Flooding
London Travel Chaos: Tube and Elizabeth Line Disruptions

London's transport network is experiencing severe disruption on Tuesday morning, with six Tube lines and the Elizabeth line either fully or partly suspended due to a signal system failure and flooding from heavy overnight rain.

Signal System Failure Hits Multiple Lines

At 6:55 am, the Circle and District lines were fully suspended due to a signal system failure. The same issue has halted Metropolitan line trains between Baker Street and Aldgate. The Bakerloo and Hammersmith & City lines also face partial closures.

Flooding Disrupts Elizabeth Line

The Elizabeth line has no service between Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3, and Terminal 4, due to flooding caused by heavy overnight rain. Commuters are advised to seek alternative routes or allow extra travel time.
