Derbyshire Police have arrested a second man on suspicion of murder following the death of 26-year-old Isaac Lee-Watts at a summer solstice event in the Peak District. The 23-year-old suspect remains in custody, while a 41-year-old man previously arrested has been released on bail.
Incident Details
Police were called to the Nine Ladies Stone Circle in Stanton Lees at 1.38pm on Monday, June 22, where they found the body of Isaac Lee-Watts from Nottingham. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Detective Inspector Tony Owen, leading the investigation, described the killing as 'in the most brutal way'.
Appeal for Information
Isaac's sister, Jonimae, urged attendees of the dance event to come forward, stating: "This [arrest] doesn't mean we stop. Please keep giving information. If you know absolutely anything please, from the kindness of your heart, let the police know and bring Isaac the justice he deserves."
DI Owen thanked the public for 'hundreds' of messages, photos, and videos received, but stressed the need for more information. He said: "We'd still like to hear from anyone who hasn't yet come forward and who was at the site over the weekend, as well as anyone who captured video footage from there as well as dashcam footage of vehicles arriving or leaving."
