Minneapolis Hotel Targeted by Anti-ICE Protestors After Fatal Shooting of Nurse

In a dramatic escalation of tensions, hordes of anti-ICE protestors attempted to storm a hotel in Minneapolis where they believed federal agents were staying. The incident occurred amid heightened unrest following the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old ICU nurse, by border patrol agents in the sanctuary city.

Chaos Unfolds at Home Suites by Hilton Hotel

The chaos unfolded outside the Home Suites by Hilton Hotel on Sunday night, just one day after Pretti was fatally shot while being detained. A jaw-dropping video from the heated demonstration captured protestors banging on garbage bins and bells, while others chanted and paced in front of the building. Many in the mob wore masks as they loitered and caused a ruckus, starting around 9 pm.

Vandalism and Attempted Entry

During the protest, someone vandalized the glass window at the Hilton's entrance with bright red spray paint reading, 'ICE OUT OF MPLS.' One person pounding on a garbage pail held a sign that read: 'No justice, no peace.' According to reports, rioters tried to bust through the front door but were unsuccessful, continuing their commotion in the street.

Police Response and Dispersal

Frontlines Turning Point USA (TPUSA), the on-the-ground news service for the conservative nonprofit, wrote on X that the alarming scene continued for more than an hour without police intervening. However, authorities eventually stepped in to control the crowd, dispersing the far-left protestors using flares and tear gas. It remains unclear if any arrests were made during the incident.
