Lindsie Chrisley Breaks Silence After DUI Arrest in Georgia
Lindsie Chrisley Speaks Out After DUI Arrest

Lindsie Chrisley has broken her silence after being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in Georgia over the weekend. The former Chrisley Knows Best star, 36, was taken into custody on Saturday evening in Cherokee County. According to records obtained by People, she faces charges including DUI less safe — which allows prosecution even if blood alcohol content is below the legal limit of 0.08 percent — as well as attempting to elude police, improper passing, reckless driving, and speeding.

Lindsie, daughter of reality TV personality Todd Chrisley and his first wife Teresa Terry, was booked into the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office and released early Sunday morning after posting bond. She addressed the incident on Monday, telling TMZ: “I got pulled over speeding past a car on a two-lane road because they almost hit an animal and I was trying to miss hitting them and whatever the animal was.” She added that she “plans to fight the charge.”

The Cherokee County Jail confirmed Lindsie’s bail was set at $4,606, taking all charges into consideration.

Lindsie is the only daughter of Todd Chrisley and Teresa Terry, who also have a son, Kyle Chrisley, 34. She appeared on Chrisley Knows Best with her father and his second wife, Julie Chrisley, for five seasons. However, Lindsie has had a strained relationship with her father for over a decade, confirming their estrangement in a November interview with OK! Magazine. Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted in 2022 for conspiring to defraud community banks of over $30 million in fraudulent loans. They were released in May 2025 after being pardoned by former President Donald Trump.

The Independent has contacted Todd and Julie Chrisley, as well as Lindsie’s half-sister Savannah Chrisley, for comment.

Lindsie’s arrest comes a month after she filed a protective order against her ex-boyfriend, David Landsman, who was arrested in April for aggravated assault, strangulation, and battery. According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, the pair allegedly had an altercation after Landsman became “verbally aggressive” over a photo on Lindsie’s phone. Landsman reportedly apologized after confirming the photo was of himself but later became agitated. He allegedly strangled Lindsie multiple times, and she punched him near his eyebrow to stop him. He then threw her outside before she could leave his home. Authorities examined injuries on her neck and head. Neither has publicly addressed the claims. The protective order, shared by TMZ, includes a mutual no-contact order requiring them to stay 500 yards apart from each other, their homes, and workplaces.
