A man wearing a balaclava has been arrested after allegedly threatening Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor near his new home on the King's Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
The suspect is understood to have approached the former prince while he was out walking his dogs last night at around 7:30pm. The man is said to have jumped out of a car shouting before being tackled to the ground by security guards assigned to the disgraced ex-Duke.
Mountbatten-Windsor lost his entitlement to state-funded police protection in early 2022, when he was stripped of his royal title and the style His Royal Highness (HRH).
Norfolk Police confirmed the arrest and said the suspect remains in custody. Further details are expected to follow.
