Matt King, the actor best known for playing Super Hans in the hit Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show, has been rushed to hospital after suffering a rare spinal stroke that left him temporarily paralysed.
Hospital Treatment
The 55-year-old actor confirmed he is being treated at the Royal Sussex Hospital in Brighton following the incident on Sunday. In a post shared from his hospital bed, King wrote: 'It's true. I had a rare stroke of the spinal cord on Sunday. I was initially paralysed but was rushed to The Royal Sussex and the staff have been amazing.'
Recovery Progress
King reported that he is now able to walk again, albeit with difficulty. 'Can walk again, a bit. My legs were jelly, man. It didn't feel f*****g brilliant. Thank you for all the love and kindness,' he added, expressing gratitude to fans and medical staff.
The actor's representative confirmed that he is receiving excellent care and is expected to make a full recovery. Further updates are expected as his condition improves.
