Cheshire Police have issued an urgent public appeal to help locate a 17-year-old girl who vanished just days before Christmas.
Details of the Disappearance
Isla Davies was last seen at Warrington Bank Quay Railway Station on Monday 22 December at approximately 5.30pm. Authorities state it has now been over three days since she had any contact with family or friends, prompting growing concern for her welfare.
Police have released a detailed description of Isla to aid the public in spotting her. She is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, with dyed red hair and brown eyes. A distinctive identifying feature is a tattoo of an infinity symbol on her middle finger.
When last seen, she was believed to be wearing a black leather jacket with white trousers. Her footwear could be either slider-style shoes or a pair of grey Converse trainers. Isla is known to have connections to the areas of Warrington, Halton, and Merseyside.
Police Appeal for Information
Chief Inspector Robert McLoughlin is leading the search. He stated: "Our officers are conducting extensive enquiries to locate Isla. We are now asking anyone with any information, or who may have seen her since Monday evening, to come forward immediately."
The appeal extends to drivers and businesses, with police requesting checks of any relevant dashcam footage or CCTV that might have captured Isla's movements. Chief Inspector McLoughlin also made a direct plea to the missing teen: "I would like to appeal to Isla directly to please contact us or your family to let us know you are safe and well."
