FBI Received Warning About Epstein's 'Suspicious Barn' with Potential Incinerator
A retired New Mexico State police officer alerted the FBI that Jeffrey Epstein might have been destroying evidence in an incinerator concealed within a 'suspicious barn' constructed on his Zorro Ranch. The officer, who patrolled the area for 15 years, expressed concerns that the barn, featuring a chimney and a secure 'sally port' entryway, did not resemble typical ranching structures and could house hidden incinerators.
Document Reveals Chilling Details and Renewed Investigation
The warning was documented in an FBI report log dated July 19, 2019, just days after Epstein's arrest on sex trafficking charges. The document, published by the US Department of Justice, includes the officer's observations of increased security measures, such as cameras and sally ports, and notes an old mobile home placed behind the barn, potentially violating county regulations. The officer also reported hearing rumours about the ranch being used for 'recruited girls to visit' and noted sightings of 'high-profile people' frequently at the property.
In response, New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez has reopened the investigation into Epstein's Zorro Ranch, citing 'revelations outlined in the previously sealed FBI files' that warrant further examination. State prosecutors are seeking immediate access to the complete, unredacted federal case file and plan to collaborate with law enforcement partners and a new truth commission established by state lawmakers.
Disturbing Allegations of Buried Victims and Fetish Sex
Attention on the ranch intensified following the release of Epstein files by the US Government on January 30, which included an email from a person claiming to be a former staff member. The email alleges that Epstein ordered the burial of two 'foreign girls' near the ranch after they were strangled to death during 'rough, fetish sex'. The sender implicated Epstein and 'Madam G', believed to be Ghislaine Maxwell, in the burials and included links to videos purportedly showing Epstein engaging in sex with minors.
The email, sent to Eddy Aragon on November 21, 2019, and forwarded to the FBI, demanded a payment of one Bitcoin for the information and videos. It described the material as 'insurance' taken from Epstein's home, adding that 'what is damning about Jeffrey Epstein is yet to be written.'
Zorro Ranch: A Lavish and Isolated Getaway
Epstein purchased the 7,600-acre Zorro Ranch in 1993 from former New Mexico governor Bruce King. The property spans 13 square miles of high desert and includes a 26,700-square-foot luxury estate, guest lodges, staff dwellings, a private airstrip, helipad, horse stables, and a greenhouse. Used as an isolated playground for VIP guests, it offered more discretion than his Caribbean island, Little St James.
After Epstein's death in August 2019, his estate listed the ranch for $27.5 million, later reducing the price to $18 million before selling it in 2023 to a limited liability corporation that renamed it San Rafael Ranch. The owner remains shrouded in secrecy.
Legal Fallout and Ongoing Scrutiny
Civil filings and court testimonies have linked the ranch to alleged abuses, including a 2019 case where a woman identified as Jane Doe claimed Epstein molested her there in 2004 when she was 15. Photographs and statements show Virginia Giuffre visited the compound while trafficked as a teenager between 2000 and 2002, though she did not accuse Prince Andrew of abuse at that location. Andrew has consistently denied all allegations.
In a related development, British police arrested the former Prince Andrew earlier on Thursday on suspicion of misconduct in public office related to his links to Epstein. Meanwhile, members of Congress in Washington, D.C., continue efforts to uncover more testimony from powerful individuals involved in the scandal.
The New Mexico Department of Justice emphasised in a statement that they will 'follow the facts wherever they lead' and ensure the preservation of any relevant evidence. As investigations proceed, the full extent of activities at Zorro Ranch remains under intense scrutiny, with authorities committed to uncovering the truth behind these grave allegations.
