Sultani Bakatash, 29, has been found guilty of raping two 14-year-old girls after plying them with alcohol. The offences took place at his flat in Georgina Court, Bolton, on December 6 last year.

Grooming and attack

Bakatash groomed one of the victims via Snapchat before inviting her and a friend to his flat. Once there, he gave both girls vodka until they were unconscious, then raped them. Bolton Crown Court heard the details of the attack.

Bakatash, originally from Afghanistan, has been in the UK for two years and has indefinite leave to remain. His mother, two brothers, and two sisters also live in the UK.
