Flight Attendant Stabbed 15 Times in Dubai Hotel, Ex-Husband Arrested
Ex-husband arrested after flight attendant stabbed in Dubai

A 25-year-old flight attendant was discovered murdered in a luxury Dubai hotel room, having suffered at least 15 stab wounds, in a brutal attack that has led to the arrest of her ex-husband in Russia.

A Premeditated and Jealous Pursuit

Investigators state that Albert Morgan, a 41-year-old legal consultant from Russia, tracked his former partner to the United Arab Emirates, consumed by jealousy. He reportedly accessed her private messages and falsely believed she had worked as an escort for VIP clients during their relationship.

Court documents reveal Morgan made a 2,700-mile journey from St Petersburg to Dubai with an accomplice, identified as a bailiff. The accomplice allegedly followed the victim in the hotel lobby to ascertain her room number.

The Fatal Confrontation in a Five-Star Hotel

The attack occurred at the five-star Voco Bonnington hotel in Dubai. Police reports indicate Morgan posed as a guest, stealing a hotel robe and convincing a maid to let him into the room by claiming he had lost his key.

Officials state his initial plan was to smear her with green paint and cut her hair with scissors. However, a confrontation erupted, leading to a frenzied attack. The victim was found with at least 15 stab wounds to her neck, torso, and limbs from the scissors.

International Arrest and Legal Loophole Attempt

Dubai police identified Morgan from hotel CCTV and alerted Russian authorities. He was detained upon landing in St Petersburg. The Oktyabrsky District Court has ordered him to remain in custody for two months, accused of murder under Article 105 of the Russian Criminal Code.

In a notable twist, Morgan reportedly requested to be dispatched to fight in Ukraine prior to his arrest, a common tactic alleged criminals use in Russia to evade justice. His request was unsuccessful.

Reports citing law enforcement sources note the couple had lived together in St Petersburg for two years, and the victim had previously called police over conflicts with Morgan but later withdrew her complaints.
