The family of a 25-year-old woman who died in a crash on the M62 has described her as 'our everything'. Mother-of-one Joetta Shumba was in a grey Audi S3 that collided with a lorry on the westbound carriageway between the Eccles Interchange and Junction 11 on Sunday.
A man she was travelling with remains in a serious condition in hospital. The crash caused the lorry to overturn and the road was closed for more than 11 hours.
Paying tribute to her, Ms Shumba's family said: 'On Sunday we lost a very important part of our family. Joetta was our everything. She loved her son more than life itself. We are completely devastated and heartbroken by our loss. We don't know how we are going to carry on.'
'No words can describe the life that she lived and the legacy that she will leave in our hearts. We very much appreciate everybody's kind words and tributes but would now like some privacy to grieve our loss.'
Anybody with information about the crash is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
