A 15-year-old boy has been found dead after getting into difficulty in the water at Clifton Country Park in Swinton, Greater Manchester. Emergency services launched a major search following reports that the teenager had got into trouble in the water at around 4.50pm on Saturday.
Body Recovered by Underwater Search Unit
Greater Manchester Police confirmed on Monday that a body had been recovered from the water by the North West Under Water Search and Marine Unit. Formal identification has yet to take place, but specialist officers are supporting the boy's family.
