Failsworth Stabbing: Man Critical, Four Bailed

Greater Manchester Police has confirmed that a man stabbed in Failsworth one week ago remains in a critical condition in hospital. The attack occurred on Hale Lane on Friday, June 19, and the victim is still receiving treatment as of June 26.

Four Arrests Made in Connection with the Incident

Over the past week, four individuals have been arrested in relation to the stabbing. On the night of the incident, two men aged 19 and 46 were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm at an address on Firdale Road, Moston. The following evening, a 17-year-old boy handed himself in at Ashton-under-Lyne police station and was arrested. On Monday, a 45-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of theft and assault in connection with the investigation.

Suspects Bailed Pending Further Enquiries

All four suspects have been bailed while police continue their enquiries. GMP has stated that investigations have been ongoing throughout the week.
