Motorcyclist Airlifted After A470 Crash with Rally Car

A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following a collision with a rally car on the A470 in Gwynedd over the weekend.

Emergency services were called to the scene near Dinas Mawddwy at around 3:15 pm on Saturday, June 13. The incident involved a red Ford Cortina rally car and a grey Triumph Tiger motorcycle.

The biker was taken by the Wales Air Ambulance to the major trauma unit at Royal Stoke University Hospital, where he remains under treatment for serious injuries.

North Wales Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or was traveling in the area at the time to come forward. Sergeant Alun Jones of the roads crime unit urged drivers with dashcam footage to contact officers.
