Fifteen fire engines and approximately 100 firefighters are currently battling a blaze at a two-storey warehouse on an industrial estate in Tottenham, north London. The fire, located near Watermead Way, is producing a significant amount of smoke, prompting the London Fire Brigade to advise local residents to keep their windows and doors closed.
Firefighting Response and Resources
Crews have been mobilised from Edmonton, Enfield, Tottenham, Chingford, Walthamstow, and surrounding fire stations to the scene. A 32-metre turntable ladder from Tottenham Fire Station is also in attendance to assist with the operation. Road closures are in place on Watermead Way at the junction of Leeside Road.
