Love Island All Stars Fans Predict Doom for Scott and Leanne After Final

The third series of ITV2's Love Island: All Stars concluded on Monday evening with Samie Elishi and Ciaran Davies crowned winners, but it's the third-place couple who are now dominating fan discussions. Viewers are convinced that Scott van-der-Sluis and Leanne Amaning are "doomed to split" after spotting what they describe as a major red flag in their post-villa behaviour.

Awkward Body Language Sparks Concern

Shortly after the final, Scott and Leanne appeared on the show's The Morning After podcast with host Indiyah Polack to reflect on their time in the South African villa. During the interview, fans quickly noted a stark contrast in their demeanour. Leanne kept her arms crossed throughout much of the conversation, while Scott appeared far more affectionate, frequently leaning in and placing his hand on her lap.

This apparent disconnect immediately set off alarm bells among the show's dedicated fanbase. One observer commented on YouTube, "Scott has no concept of personal space when it comes to Leanne." Another added, "The way Scott looks at Leanne, he's in LOVE." However, the focus quickly shifted to Leanne's perceived reticence.

Reddit Erupts with Split Predictions

The discussion migrated to Reddit, where users dissected the couple's body language in detail. One popular post questioned, "Caught up late but why does it seem Leanne isn’t into Scott much by her body language? Like she’s never the one leaning in or reaching for him… he seems way more into it than she is… I smell a breakup coming within a month unfortunately."

Another user provided a more analytical take: "Hmm so I thought Leanne's body language was interesting in the morning after interview. While Scott was leaning into her and had his hand on her lap, she had her arms folded together and wasn't really touching him. I don't think she was like this on the show except for maybe the final 2 episodes. I think either something happened for her to see him differently or everyone got in her head and she had her guard way up now."

Defenders Cite Nerves and Shyness

Not all fans are convinced the relationship is on the rocks. A significant contingent rushed to defend the pair, attributing Leanne's posture to nervousness and her naturally shy personality. One supporter argued, "erm she’s just a shy girl and they both said they were nervous. Even if they do break up who cares loool most love island couples don’t last anyways. Should be focused on the scammy winners.."

Others pointed to more positive subtle cues. "Agree I think she was just very very nervous, she’s a humble queen in her interview with indiyah she giggled and said 'it’s just a lot' I think she was really overwhelmed and he held it together for them. You can tell how much she likes him cause in the cutaways she kept looking up to him with a lot of love lol.." wrote another fan. A third added, "Yeah I noticed this as well, but she keeps looking a him with love, the eyes don't lie!! i agree her body language is stiff i think she was just shy she was like this the whole final. but i hope they make a go at it <3."

From Villa Finale to Fan Speculation

The couple, who placed third with 19.41% of the public vote, have contrasting Love Island histories. Scott first found fame on the UK show's tenth series in 2023 before appearing on Love Island USA and the inaugural Love Island Games. During the All Stars series, he remained coupled with Leanne despite briefly showing interest in fellow contestant Belle Hassan.

Leanne originally shot to fame on the sixth series of Love Island back in 2020. Their journey together culminated in Monday's final, which was won by Ciaran Davies and Samie Elishi with 35.22% of the vote. Runners-up Millie Court and Zac Woodworth secured 23.38%, while fourth-place Lucinda Strafford and Sean Stone got 12.77%, and fifth-place Whitney and Yamen Sanders received 9.23%.

Despite the competition being over, the intense scrutiny of Scott and Leanne's relationship has only just begun, proving that for Love Island couples, life after the villa can be just as dramatic as the show itself.
