Isabelle Tate, '9-1-1: Nashville' Actor, Dies at 23

Isabelle Tate, an actor on ABC's '9-1-1: Nashville', died on Sunday, 19 October 2025, at the age of 23. Her representative confirmed the news via social media.

Tate had a rare form of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a genetic neurological disorder affecting the nerves that control muscles. She played Julie in the pilot episode of the Ryan Murphy spinoff, which aired on 9 October 2025.

Her agency, the McCray Agency in Nashville, announced her death on Instagram, stating: 'We are deeply saddened and completely heartbroken to share that Isabelle Tate passed away on October 19th. I've known Izzy since she was a teenager and she recently returned to acting. She booked the first series she auditioned for, 9-1-1 Nashville. She had a wonderful time.'

Tate filmed her episode in June 2025. The series, which follows emergency responders in Tennessee, also stars Chris O'Donnell, LeAnn Rimes, Michael Provost, Jessica Capshaw, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, and Juani Feliz.

According to an obituary from Austin Funeral & Cremation Services, Tate was born and raised in Nashville and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a business degree. She enjoyed visiting animal shelters and writing and recording music with friends. She is survived by her mother Katerina Kazakos Tate, stepfather Vishnu Jayamohan, father John Daniel Tate, and sister Daniella Tate. A funeral is scheduled for 24 October in Brentwood, Tennessee.
