Alec Baldwin and Brother Stephen Unhurt After Hamptons Car Crash

Alec Baldwin and his brother Stephen Baldwin were involved in a car crash in the Hamptons on Monday, October 13, but both emerged without serious injuries. The 67-year-old actor was driving his wife Hilaria's white Range Rover SUV when it collided head-on with a tree in East Hampton, causing significant damage to the vehicle.

Alec confirmed the incident in a video message, saying: 'I crushed my wife's car and I feel bad about that — but it's all fine. I'm fine, my brother's fine.' He added a message to his wife: 'Hilaria, I love you more than anything and I'm very proud of you.'

Stephen's representative told TMZ: 'Stephen is doing fine and is grateful no one was injured. He appreciates the concern and he can confirm that he and Alec are both safe and well.' The brothers were seen walking away from the crash scene and speaking with police. They had been expected to attend the Hamptons International Film Festival.

The accident comes amid a turbulent period for Alec, who was tried for involuntary manslaughter over the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the film Rust. The case was dismissed in July 2024 after he pleaded not guilty. Alec has since filed a civil lawsuit for malicious prosecution and civil rights violations against the prosecutors.

Meanwhile, Alec's wife Hilaria Baldwin recently claimed she was 'bullied off' the show Dancing With the Stars. In an Instagram Live, she said: 'I did get bullied off the show. I did, that's for sure.' She criticised online negativity and called for more support among women, adding that public perception does not match reality.
