Hadid, along with her mother Yolanda Hadid and younger brother Anwar Hadid, contracted the tick-borne illness in 2012 and 2013. On September 18, Yolanda wrote: 'You are relentless and courageous. No child is supposed to suffer in their body with an incurable chronic disease.' She praised Bella's bravery and willingness to keep fighting despite failing protocols and setbacks. 'This disease has brought us to our knees, but we always get back up,' Yolanda added.
