Emmerdale actor Bradley Riches has married his fiancé, artist Scott Johnson, in an intimate ceremony in Maidenhead. The wedding took place just days after the 24-year-old star announced the death of his grandmother.
The couple exchanged vows on Wednesday surrounded by famous friends, including former Celebrity Big Brother housemates David Potts and ZeZe Millz. Bradley wore a brown three-piece suit while Scott opted for a beige outfit, both sporting matching carnations in their buttonholes.
Bradley shared the news on Instagram, posting a photo of the pair kissing on the dance floor. The happy occasion came just over a week after he revealed his nan had passed away on the eve of the wedding. In an emotional post, he wrote: 'Never did I think I would be saying goodbye to my Gt. Nanny just days before my wedding. Before she passed, she told me she’d be with me on my big day… and I know she will be.'
Bradley, best known for playing Lewis Barton in the ITV soap, had previously shared his engagement proposal in Sorrento, Italy, at the end of last year. He said at the time: '2020 was my favourite yet, but... 2026 is gonna be even better as I get to marry my best friend.'
The actor has been praised for his role as Lewis, who is also autistic, and has spoken about the importance of representing the neurodivergent community on screen.
