Jesy Nelson has broken her silence following her split from Chris Hughes, sharing a photo on Instagram that showed off her toned abs. The Little Mix star posted the image on Friday, just a day after news of their breakup emerged.
In the photo, Jesy posed on her dining room table wearing a crop top, revealing her fantastic figure. She also showcased her new brunette bobbed locks, which she recently cut during self-isolation. Her rose tattoos were visible spiralling up her arm as she smiled at the camera.
Jesy's Instagram caption made no mention of her ex-boyfriend, instead focusing on her home's lighting. She wrote: "So I’ve discovered this is the best light in my house, so unfortunately you will be seeing a lot more of me and this chandelier."
The couple's romance reportedly ended over a phone call, with sources claiming Jesy felt the relationship had run its course. The coronavirus lockdown, which kept them apart at their separate homes, is said to have contributed to the split. A source told MailOnline: "She split up with him last week in a phone call... There are no hard feelings."
Jesy had hinted at the breakup in a recent interview, admitting she hadn't seen Chris in "a while" and had been playing Little Mix's new song 'Break Up Song' loudly enough to annoy her neighbours. Despite the split, the pair are reportedly on good terms and may remain friends.
