Jeremy Clarkson has apologised to viewers of Clarkson's Farm after a particularly graphic scene in the latest series. The moment occurred when Diddly Squat Farm's vet, Dilwyn Evans, performed a postmortem on a deceased sheep, accidentally spilling its bowels.
Clarkson addressed the camera directly, saying: 'We did say we would show farming warts and all on this show, but this is really stretching it.' He later added: 'I'd like to apologise on behalf of the entire Clarkson's Farm team for this scene. I promise we will try to lift the mood.'
The scene was lightened by Clarkson's disastrous Christmas grotto, which featured goats eating the Christmas tree and unruly sheep outsmarting him and Kaleb Cooper. However, fans were left with a pressing question about the fate of Richard Ham, a pig named after Clarkson's former co-star Richard Hammond.
Viewers took to social media to ask about the pig's whereabouts, with one writing: 'Just finished the first 4 episodes... I can't be the only one wondering what fate has befallen Richard Ham?' Another asked: 'What happened to Richard Ham? He’s still a beloved family member right?'
In previous episodes, Clarkson made the difficult decision to sell his rare Oxford and Sandy Black Pigs after learning they were too fatty for profitable meat production, leaving him in tears. It remains unclear whether Richard Ham was among those sold or kept as a pet.
