Loose Women star Coleen Nolan has revealed a second skin cancer scare, prompting her to seek medical advice after noticing a suspicious patch of skin. Tests confirmed that if left untreated, the area could develop into melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer.
The 58-year-old ITV presenter, currently touring the UK with her solo show 'Naked', previously had carcinoma removed from her shoulder using chemotherapy cream. She described the new patch as 'a tiny bit of dry skin' that would not respond to moisturisers.
Nolan, who has a family history of cancer, plans to undergo further treatment once her tour concludes. Her sisters Anne and Linda have both battled breast cancer, with Linda's disease recently spreading to her brain.
Celebrity friends including Ruth Langsford and Saira Khan have attended Nolan's shows to show support. The singer urged fans to remain vigilant about skin changes, emphasising the importance of early detection.
