Dua Lipa has been enjoying some well-deserved downtime on a 'funmaxxing' trip with her friends, sharing a glimpse of the boozy break on Instagram. The 30-year-old singer posted a gallery of snaps from her time away, which included a day out on a luxury yacht followed by a night of drinking shots in the garden of her luxury villa.
Yacht Outing and Stylish Looks
Dua showcased her incredible figure in a series of skimpy bikinis in her post, as she and her friends boarded the yacht for an afternoon of fun in the sun. The hitmaker then changed into more revealing looks, including a white crop top and a plunging black lace bodysuit. She also embraced the 'funmaxxing' trend, aptly sharing a definition of the term in her post's caption: 'Funmaxxing is an internet slang term describing the practice of intentionally maximising enjoyment.'
Luxury Villa and Nightlife
The trip included a stay at a luxury villa, where Dua and her pals enjoyed a raucous night of drinking in the garden. She was seen in a daring white halterneck top and a matching lace skirt, as well as a lacy bodysuit with matching boots. The group also indulged in oysters during a restaurant visit.
Wedding Plans with Callum Turner
The trip came after Dua enjoyed a lavish safari in South Africa with her fiancé, actor Callum Turner. Reports suggest the couple are shunning a big showbiz wedding in favour of a smaller, intimate ceremony. They are said to have settled on a date to tie the knot this summer, possibly abroad. Despite having A-list friends like Elton John, Olivia Dean, Mark Ronson, and Charli XCX, the pair are keeping their wedding party small and have been strict with their guestlist. A source told The Sun: 'The plans are in full swing for Dua and Callum’s wedding but it’s all being kept hush hush. It is happening this summer – she will be a married woman by the time she turns 31 in August. They want to keep it to their nearest and dearest so it’s not going to be a huge, showy occasion.'
Engagement and Future
Dua and Callum first started dating in January 2024 and confirmed their engagement in June last year. She told British Vogue: 'Yeah, we’re engaged. It’s very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever — it’s a really special feeling.' Regarding wedding plans, she said: 'I want to finish my tour, Callum’s shooting, so we’re just enjoying this period. I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden, I’m like: "Oh, what would I wear?"' Dua, who finished her tour in December, said she is 'obsessed' with her engagement ring and added: 'It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.'
