England's WAGs are bracing for potential downpours as the Three Lions aim for a World Cup victory against Ghana. Megan Davison, wife of goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, arrived at Boston Stadium in a stunning all-white mini-dress but was prepared for the elements with a waterproof poncho.
Weather-Ready Fashion
Davison's outfit choice came after weather disruptions halted the France vs. Iraq match the previous day. Despite the risk of rain, she was in high spirits, smiling from the stands before kick-off. Her preparedness highlighted the unpredictable conditions at the tournament.
Luggage Reunited
Earlier in the day, Davison had good news: her missing luggage was finally delivered. The 30-year-old had previously worn her seven-year-old child's kit for England's first game after her suitcase went missing during travel to the US. She shared a TikTok video set to ABBA's "Honey, Honey," showing her dancing with the recovered luggage and captioning it: "A special delivery arrived. It will not be leaving my sight before tomorrows game." She told fans she was "guarding it with my life" and that it had been "rough out here."
WAGs Support in the US
Davison is part of a group of England WAGs who traveled to support the team, including Tolami Benson, Kate Kane, and Ashlyn Castro. Davison has been with Pickford since high school; they married in 2020 and have three children: Arlo, Ostara, and Misty.
Roy Keane's Criticism
Not everyone is complimentary about the WAGs. Manchester United legend Roy Keane criticized them for wearing shirts with their partners' surnames during England's opening match against Croatia. Speaking to The Overlap, Keane said: "Oh, the jersey? The World Cup, when all the players' wives and families are going to the match, all the wives are in the jerseys with the players' names on the back, wow."
