Harry and Meghan Take Archie and Lilibet to Disneyland for Dual Birthday Celebration
Harry and Meghan's Disneyland Birthday Trip with Kids

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have taken their children, Archie and Lilibet, on a joint birthday celebration to Disneyland, sharing highlights on Instagram. Lilibet, who turns five on June 4, was seen hugging Cinderella, while Archie, who turned seven on May 6, hid behind a pillar as his mother looked on. Lilibet was less enthusiastic about meeting Darth Vader and his stormtroopers, standing behind her parents.

A Family Outing

The Sussexes were joined by Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, for the trip to the Anaheim theme park. A source told People magazine that the family enjoyed the rides together. Meghan invited her mother as a way to extend their Mother's Day celebrations. Meghan shared a video of them meeting Mickey and Minnie Mouse with Lilibet.

Rare Public Appearances for the Children

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are typically private about their children but make exceptions for birthdays. Last week, Meghan shared a rare photo of Archie as a baby to mark his seventh birthday. The couple have chosen to keep their children's titles a matter of personal choice, allowing them to decide later in life whether to use them.

Archie and Lilibet were not born with prince and princess titles as they were not grandchildren of the monarch at the time. However, they gained those rights when King Charles ascended the throne in 2022. King Charles has reportedly met Archie only a few times and Lilibet once in 2022.
