Hollyoaks actor Gary Lucy has shared a gruesome image of his leg injury following a car accident on Boxing Day. The 41-year-old was discharged from Glasgow Royal Infirmary on crutches and wearing a knee brace after the crash.
Lucy, who spent Christmas in Scotland with his new girlfriend, former Love Island star Laura Anderson, posted a photo on Instagram showing severe bruising on his leg, captioning it 'so pretty' with a green face emoji.
The couple, who met on E4's Celebs Go Dating, had shared news of the accident on social media earlier this week. Laura, 33, posted a collage including Christmas snaps and a picture of Lucy in hospital with a swollen knee.
Lucy thanked the hospital staff and his girlfriend, writing: 'Huge thank you to all at Glasgow Royal Infirmary Hospital. And to one special nurse in particular... @lauraanderson1x.' He also shared images of his badly damaged car, noting he was 'lucky to be alive.'
