The reality star recently revealed she had been battling depression after gaining a stone following a knee injury that prevented her from running. She told The Sun that not being able to go to the gym made her feel depressed, and a doctor recommended anti-depressants.
Frankie has been candid about her weight loss journey, having lost over two stone in 2016. She credited her transformation to eating clean and giving up sauces like ketchup, which she said is full of sugar. Earlier this year, she released a fitness DVD to share her tips with fans.
Speaking about her lowest point, Frankie told MailOnline she had experienced a year and a half of sadness and depression, sometimes not wanting to leave the house. She previously blamed a bad boyfriend for 'the worst year of her life', during which she contemplated suicide.
Frankie and her brother Joey lost their mother to suicide during their teenage years, and Frankie said she feared she might 'fall into the same hole'. However, she now wants to show others that being sad is all in your head and that you can overcome it.
