Bianca Censori's barely-there outfit at the Grammy Awards has sparked grave concerns from experts, who fear a disturbing dynamic with husband Kanye West. The Australian architect wore a completely transparent slip dress to the ceremony on Sunday night, risking arrest and drawing furious backlash, while West was dressed head-to-toe in black.
Chartered psychologist Dr Louise Goddard-Crawley told the Mirror that Bianca's extreme clothing choices may signal an unhealthy relationship. 'Reports of Kanye West allegedly imposing rules on her, alongside concerns from family and friends, raise the possibility that this is more than just a bold fashion choice,' she said. The psychologist noted that in relationships where one partner holds significant influence, the other can adapt unconsciously to maintain approval.
Dr Goddard-Crawley explained that if West controls how Bianca presents herself, dressing in an extreme way might be a way to avoid conflict rather than a personal choice. She also suggested that Bianca could feel pressure to become West's next project, given his history of styling partners like Kim Kardashian. However, she acknowledged that hypersexualisation could be seen as empowerment, questioning whether Bianca would make the same choices without West.
West has been open about his bipolar disorder, and the psychologist said his behaviour has at times reflected patterns of impulsivity and grandiosity that can shape relationship dynamics. Red flags include reports of Bianca distancing herself from loved ones and a drastic shift in self-presentation, which raises questions about autonomy versus influence.
