Katie Price, 47, has once again sparked concern after displaying the results of a botched Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) during a romantic getaway to Dubai with her husband, Lee Andrews. The former glamour model, who has undergone numerous cosmetic procedures, shared a bikini-clad snap on Friday that clearly showed a misplaced implant protruding from her hip.
The Botched Procedure
Katie previously revealed that she nearly died after undergoing a BBL in 2019, a procedure that involves transferring fat from other parts of the body to the buttocks. She has since had two BBLs and a staggering 16 boob jobs. Speaking on Katherine Ryan's podcast, What's My Age Again, Katie expressed regret, saying, 'The bum. I tried that BBL abroad where they take your own fat and put it in your bum. It was so painful. And it just did not look right on me.'
Health Risks Highlighted
Surgeon Dr Gerard Lambe warned about the dangers of multiple procedures, stating, 'Katie needs to be aware that she is putting her health and body under extreme pressure. BBL is one of the most dangerous surgeries anyone can undergo and has the highest mortality rate – it's one of Katie's riskiest surgeries yet. She is dicing with death.'
After reversing her original BBL, Katie had fillers in her bum in 2024, which she said 'left my bum a weird shape.' She admitted, 'I've done it twice but now, I think I've lost weight and it's gone, my bum has gone a weird shape now and I wish I never had it done.'
Dubai Trip and Driving Plans
During her trip, Katie has been posting racy snaps taken by her husband, who acts as her camera man. In a recent Instagram post, she revealed plans to obtain an International Driving Licence, despite being banned from driving in the UK for a seventh time after ignoring police letters about an 80mph speeding ticket. An International Driving Permit (IDP) is a translation of a national licence and cannot be used if the UK licence is revoked or banned.
Katie and Lee married in January, just ten days after meeting, and held a second legal ceremony. In a new clip, Katie said, 'Hey guys, we are just going to the hospital to get my stitches taken out and then we are going to Lee’s dad for a cup of tea.' Lee added, 'That’s the easy one, then you’ll see the car,' referring to a £180K Ferrari he claimed to have bought her.
