Kristin Cavallari was spotted enjoying a day out in Cabo, Mexico this week. The 39-year-old former reality television star, who recently called out an A-lister she dated, showed off her ripped figure in a multicolor bikini.
The tiny swimsuit included a low-cut top that teased her perky chest and low-rise thong bottoms. Cavallari put her washboard abs on display in the tiny swimwear, which she teamed with a button-up blue shirt and a trucker hat. The $38 headwear is merchandise from her Uncommon James brand, which started as a jewelry range. Underneath the hat, the mother of three wore her shoulder-length blonde locks in a low ponytail.
This comes after the Daily Mail reported that she worked out three hours a day to look good for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit runway in Miami. Cavallari took to Instagram on Sunday to reflect on her previous trip, sharing photos from a collaborative fashion show with Uncommon James and women's apparel line Resa. During her runway moment, she modeled an animal print bikini paired with a matching sarong.
She captioned a carousel post: 'Miami was a whirlwind! @uncommonjames first runway show with @shop_resa, a yoga event with some of my favorite brands (that unfortunately got rained out), a really great photoshoot and all the chaos in between.' The former MTV personality added, 'I slept for 11 hours last night and I'm feeling extremely grateful that I get to call this work.'
It was revealed that the ex-Laguna Beach personality did three-hour gym sessions in preparation for the catwalk. Her hard work paid off as she looked more fit than ever while walking in the show. 'Kristin worked out three hours every single day to make sure her body was in top shape. She really busted her ass to get there,' a source told the Daily Mail.
The three hours were broken up into two parts as she 'spent an hour and a half lifting weights in the gym in the morning, then went for an hour and a half power walk later in the day,' added the insider. Cavallari is 5ft3in tall and weighs around 114lbs. 'She always works out but she went the extra mile to prove that she is still hot as she approaches her 40th birthday next year,' the person close to Cavallari noted.
It was also said that the bombshell was nervous about the feat: 'She had the shakes. She was sweating because she was scared to walk the runway. It took a lot of confidence to do that and she stepped up to the plate.' One of Cavallari's recent Swim Week posts was liked by her former nemesis Lauren Conrad.
The MTV reality series Laguna Beach ran for three seasons and launched the careers of both Cavallari and Conrad, who went on to lead their own TV shows in the years after the finale. While appearing on the original show as teens, Cavallari and Conrad were in a contentious love triangle with castmate Stephen Colletti. Earlier this year, the former foes publicly buried the hatchet during their Roku reunion special.
