Meghan King Loses Custody of Three Children After CPS Investigation

Meghan King, the former Real Housewives of Orange County star, has reportedly lost custody of her three children following a Child Protective Services investigation. The children, daughter Aspen and twins Hart and Hayes, are now in the sole custody of her ex-husband, former MLB player Jim Edmonds, according to US Weekly.

The investigation was triggered by a call from a school employee, leading to a months-long inquiry. King, 41, has been granted supervised visitation while a hearing will determine if the custody arrangement becomes permanent. The Independent has sought comment from King's representative.

King and Edmonds, who married in 2014 and split in 2019, had a shared custody agreement since May 2021. Their relationship has been fraught post-divorce. King later married and divorced Cuffe Owens, nephew of former President Joe Biden, while Edmonds married Kortnie Nichole Edmonds in 2022.

Earlier this year, Kortnie called police after an alleged altercation at Edmonds's home. King was dropping off a dress for her daughter and reportedly entered the home despite being asked to leave. A police report noted King stood inside the house and briefly wedged her foot in the door. No charges were filed, and a restraining order was later agreed upon.

Former RHOC castmate Kelly Dodd has publicly supported King, claiming in a TikTok that King told her giving one of her twins Ritalin led to being labelled a 'dangerous mother.' Dodd insisted King is a good mother. Neither King nor Edmonds has commented on the custody developments.
