Victoria's Secret has officially denied reports that former angel Miranda Kerr is returning to the brand. A spokesperson for the lingerie giant told People magazine that claims of a new contract and capsule collection are 'completely untrue'.
Speculation had been fuelled by an anonymous source who suggested Kerr was in talks to design a charity collection and make a surprise appearance at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York. However, the brand has dismissed these claims, stating that there are 'no plans, on the part of either party, to renew'.
Kerr first modelled for Victoria's Secret in 2006 and became an angel in 2007. She parted ways with the label in 2013 amid rumours she was not a strong seller, though then-president Ed Razek defended her as 'one of the best models in the history of the business' and said she would 'always be an Angel'.
The 41-year-old Australian model has since focused on her own ventures, including her organic skincare line KORA Organics. Her last appearance in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show was in 2012.
