Angie Camacho, the former girlfriend of influencer Myron Gaines who featured prominently in Louis Theroux's Netflix documentary Inside The Manosphere, has revealed she has been undergoing therapy since their breakup and is now in a new relationship with what she describes as an "amazing man."

Camacho's appearance in Theroux's documentary sparked significant social media discussion and ridicule directed at Gaines, whose real name is Amrou Fadl. During the documentary, Camacho made it clear she was not supportive of Gaines' desire to have "multiple wives," despite his insistence that she was on board with his unconventional relationship ideals.
The couple had been in what Gaines described as a "one-way monogamous" relationship arrangement that permitted him to sleep with other women while expecting Camacho to remain exclusively loyal to him. This dynamic became a central focus of Theroux's exploration of the manosphere community and its relationship philosophies.

Following the documentary filming, Camacho ended her relationship with Gaines and began attending therapy sessions to process her experiences. In a recent TikTok video, she shared her journey toward healing and moving forward from the past.
"Hey it's me Angie, finally coming out of my shell on social media," Camacho said in her video. "I want to leave this behind, I want to leave the past in the past. I've already been through a lot, I've been through therapy, I've heard a zillion pep talks of what my friends and family had to say."
She continued with enthusiasm about her new relationship: "I am so blessed and so thankful to say that I am in a new relationship where I don't have to worry about any of this. I met this amazing man who cares for me, who makes me feel so special, makes me so happy."
Camacho added with evident relief: "I couldn't be more grateful for him. I can finally say I see a future with somebody and he can see a future with me."
Documentary Controversy and Contractual Issues
Camacho revealed she had not wanted to appear in the documentary after participating in initial filming sessions with Theroux and Gaines where they discussed their "one-sided monogamy" arrangement. Despite her requests to be removed from the final cut, producers maintained her segment in the Netflix release, citing contractual obligations that allowed them to include material once she had signed the initial agreement.
Gaines, who hosts the "Fit and Fresh" podcast that has featured controversial figures including Andrew Tate, became known for asking female guests about their "body counts" and making comments about their physical appearance and "sex appeal." During Theroux's documentary production, Gaines expressed concern when he discovered the filmmaker was interviewing his female staff members and subsequently banned them from speaking with him.

Since the documentary aired, Gaines has publicly criticized Netflix as "woke garbage" and labeled Theroux as "Louis the liar." In a lengthy seven-hour stream titled "Inside the Therouxsphere of lies," Gaines accused the documentary of making him "look crazy" by removing context from his statements.
"These companies understand that 'normies' are easily shocked and offended," Gaines claimed during his stream. "What they do is they find polarising people, they get them for interviews, they cut out all the context, all the background, why they think the way that they do and they cut out how they came to their conclusion."
Gaines further explained his initial hesitation about participating: "For a very long time I was hesitant. I was not really interested in doing it and the reason why was because I saw how they did my boy Andrew Tate. I wasn't really happy about it."

In other segments of his content, Gaines has made numerous controversial statements that have drawn criticism. He has suggested that overweight people "don't deserve" to find love, claimed that "feminism was behind" many of the world's problems, used homophobic and ableist slurs against followers who disagreed with him, referred to women with derogatory terms, and employed anti-semitic imagery while discussing Jewish people.
